Prisliste

Sygesikringen (Island) giver ikke tilskud til størstedelen af kosmetiske behandlinger. Jævnfør Heilbrigðis- og tryggingamálaráðuneytisins paragraf 471 fra 15 juni 2001 gives ikke tilskud til nedennævnte behandlinger:

Cosmetic procedures include:

1. Face and brow lift
2. Eyelid surgery to remove folds or bags
3. Procedures on face and ears to fix minimal abnormalities, excluding scars
4. Breast augmentation
5. Breast lift
6. Hair transplant or hair restoration surgery due to hair loss
7. Liposuction, unless to empty a fat tumor or correct a scar
8. Injectable fillers
9. Tightening of stomach skin to improve appearance
10. Laser hair removal
11. Laser and diathermic procedures to minimise rosacea/ruddiness
